I sent a GW letter to Cap1 to get a CO I had from 08/2005 removed. I know it was set to fall off in a couple of months anyway, but I would rather just have it gone... And looked today and it was! Unfortunately, I lost 6 points on my FICO score because it shortened my length of my credit history, but I would rather have it gone... I can make up the 6 points when hopefully a few more baddies get removed.
I sent a GW letter to Citi to have the CO and the 5 90+ day lates removed from my credit report (actually I wanted the whole thing gone) but they removed the lates... Now to GW them again and again to get it removed... That was my first GW letter to Citi so I will take it.... :-)
Hopeing I can get some more baddies removed... Oh please!!!

Thanks... My CO is there but the lates went away which helped...
I sent my original GW's to the regular old address on my statements, snail mail style.
THOUGH, I have seen a LOT of success and response from sending letters through Planetfeedback.com. Also, if you don't get a response, copy the email you sent, and send that certified mail with another letter talking about the lack of response etc etc...
Nothing worth having or getting is easy, and credit repair is the WORST/BEST.. worst because it is so hard and you get no after no after no but remember all you need is 1 YES...
