I agreed to a settlement with Cap One on an old charge off. The lady, however, indicated the past due balance (unpaid part of the charge off) will still reflect on my report. Is that accurate? This is a charged off credit card
She might be referring to the "high balance" but your CC balance should say $0 when it's paid.
