In 2004 i opened a Capital One Credit Card... Long story short i ended up being in collections and i had settled the account but didnt know of this forum so i didnt do a PTD. I pulled up my report and its showing that it was open in 04. Date of Last Activity was 2005. And its showing up that i have late payments in 2006.... how is this possible? i called them up they said they are going to update it..... Customer Relations didnt have record of my account they had to transfer me to a account specialist, after calling 5 times and them not hanging up i finally got a hold of one and all they said they could do is update it. Any recommendations since there is false information couldnt i request the account be deleted off my credit report? this account is the worst as far as late payments its showing 15 records... What should i write to them in letter format? im not good at writing letters and would like assitance..
