I actually got the card the last week in April & now that I'm looking through my emails, the message they sent me in mid May said if I made 5 on time payments my limit would be increased "no later" that November from $500 to $750. I'm thinking they actually did it a few weeks early b/c I wasn't expecting it until sometime in November & I certainly wasn't expecting such an increase all at once. (I ain't complaining! lol)

Cool, I got my card on May 12th, and my 6th statement closes on the 3rd of November. My CLI must be near. I called last week and they said a $500 CLI was all I was going to get. Seems weak for how much I am running through the card.

What day did your statement close? Did it coincide with your CLI?

Cap 1 has been good to me so far but I'm patiently waiting for my increases. Ive been pumping a lot of money thru the cards. Utility bills, groceries, gas, and a few other bills. I hope they share the love.

I too received my QS exactly 5 statements ago today. I read the e-mail sent to me when I got the card and it said that it would go up to $500 from $300. I hope it would go higher, as it seems harder to push away from these lower amounts. I currently have a $0 balance on the card and for the most part have paid it in full every time.

Would like to see a much higher limit, but will take what I can get. I have heard some amazing CLI's any where from $200 - $3000.

Congrats on CLI with Cap 1 !!! By looking at your scores you really have been working on your credit. The Cap 1 increase reflects in a postive way the work you have done. Keep going you are well on your way to your goal. I presume the the new accounts are not reflected in your scores.
