Capital One baddies

I have 2 capital one cards still open accounts. I always double the minimum payment-ALWAYS.  For some reason, I thought that keeping $50-$100 away from the credit limit and paid timely would look good on my credit.  I was unaware that I was actually doing more harm because I was keeping my cards almost maxed out.  I haven't had a late payment with Capital One since Jan '08 and just recently paid off both cards.  For each card it looks like this:

2006- 2 30s, 4 60's, 1 90

2007-1 30, 1 60

2008-1 30

After Jan 2008 no late payments.

Was thinking of writing a GW to them about removing my baddies.  Good idea?  Are they pretty hard to work with on this?

Re: Capital One baddies

With Cap1, it definitely varies and seems to depend on who gets your request.  You can search the boards for Cap1 GW success to see who people sent letters to at the company.
