Capital One questions

Had a defaulted account with Capital One.  Was settled 2/28.  Called to see that they received notification from the collection agency that funds were received.  Customer Service rep (after transferring me to 3 different offices) said they monitor the payment (certified funds mind you) for 22 days.  Then it may take 90 days to notify the credit reporting agencies.  Has anyone else had this experience?

I haven't had that experiece with Capital One, but I did have it with another CA. It came through closer to 60 days though instead of 90.

Cap one usually updates every 30 days.. It can take up to 45-60 depending on when it was done. I know from any updates to Cap1 on my card happen on my statement date (10th).
