Capital one goodwill over the phone?

For the heck of it today, I called capital one and asked the customer service rep if it were at all possible to request to take off a 30 day late.

She said she would send the request over to the right department and they may or may not do it. Anyone have any luck over the phone with them?

No luck for anyone in anyway with Capital One. They may tell you yes...then you will pull your credit a few months later and that 30 day late will still be there. Oh how I wish Chase would take over Capital One...
