So I got a rejection letter from Capital One Secured MasterCard, however, I never applied for this card. It does not seem like a hard pull (does not mention anything about credit bureaus and specifically mentions it will not affect my credit score), and I doubt it was fraud because who would want to open a credit card where you have to put money upfront? Have you guys seen this before? I called and they said they will report it as a fraudulent application etc. I thought it was strange because the letter is dated exactly 60 days afer my 341 meeting, but I guess is probably a coincidence.
