I have had a Capitol One Card for several years. Two years ago I took a constructive discharge from my job. This left me unable to pay my bills. My Cpitol One Card had an insurance thing on it. I applied for the benefit. They paid my bill for six months. After the six months, I started to pay on my own, and have continued paying this bill on time, eventhough I have other bills in arears.
Capitol one has on my account "this account is restricted". I called them. The non-elglish proficient person said they closed my account. I argued the point, because this is insane. CThe "this account is restricted" still appears on my account on their web site which is where I pay. I pulled my credit report, and it shows still open and showing regular payments.
Can anyone tell me what is going on here, because I can never get anyone from them that can tell me.
Thanks!
You should contact the EO and ask them the status of your account, and if they can remove the restriction.
What is an EO? I looked on the abbreviation list and still do not have a clue.
EO=Executive Office. They seem to be the only ones at Cap1 that can actually get anything done. Google them.
