Where can i find a letter like this? Asset is trying to collect a debt that they say is 11 years old and in MI the Sol is 7. I sent a validation letter and of course they sent back a stupid statement but now that i have the date and i say this is not mine as i am a victim or identity theft, i need to send a cease and desist but do not know what to say please help!!!

Make sure that statement they sent doesn't show any payments within the past 7 years or any charges within the past 7 yrs. Some CAs have re-aged so as to present themselves an opportunity to sue.
