Cellphone carrier collection????

Good Evening good people, Enhanced recovery decided to put a random collections on my report from AT&T I know its mine but completely forgot that I had AT&T in the past so I know for sure it belongs to me, I heard that cellphone carrier collections only stay on file for 2 years and than it falls off. Is this true??

Not true

All collections, regardless of the source of the debt, are governed by the same credit report exclusion period of no later than 7 years plus 180 days from the DOFD on the OC account.

You likely came across a discussion of the federal statute of limitations on telecomm debt.

Statute of limitations on civil action is unrelated to credit report exclusion.
