Certegy reporting as OC?

Is Certegy allowed to report as an OC? They are reporting to Eq as a $10 CO from 2006. I paid this to the CA and they removed their TL but Certegy refuses. Anything I can do? It seems like the store I wrote the check to would be the OC not Certegy but maybe I'm just not understanding. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Even if they buy the debt they are still a CA.

It shows a $0 balance with the status as charged off.

I've heard they can be a nasty CA.  But, since it is paid all you can do is start sending GW letters to them.
