Chances of Getting Cap 1 and Hsbc to Accept GW???

I have two chargeoffs from both with $0 balances. Do you all think I stand a snowball chance in hell of getting them deleted through emailing executive office? They are not due to fall off till May 2016. And I really don't want them dinging my credit for the next 2 1/2 yrs. Thoughts?

Neither is known to be particularly receptive to GW requests;  however its always worth sending a GW in my opinion.   Only cost is your time, or maybe a stamp.

I had a great experience with Cap 1. I called the number listed under the back door number area in the forums and spoke to a specialist. It took me 2 times but the person was happy to remove my CO account. I think you will find the same success with a couple calls. Just be nice and honest.

Once I get this last pfd removed(CMI),Equifax and Transunion will be clean of CAs. Experian will only have 1 (Procollect which I'm attacking next month). All I will have left is these two reporting to all bureaus of course. And I want them GONE!!!!

@John060675 is it enough to call backdoor number or should I email executive office? They have told me it was transferred to Zenith. Never heard of them.

When my Cap 1 was CO it never showed up in collections. This was 7 years ago. I called Cap 1 3 years ago and they happily removed the CO account. It took a couple calls but it worked. I never dealt with the collection agency nor do I know who they were. Hope tthis helps.
