Chargeoff dropping off

On my transunion report it shows that I have a chargeoff that is estimated to be removed 08/2013. Does anyone know if they disappear at the beginning of the month, end of the month? Are these dates usually prettyaccurate. Thanks in advance for any responses, this board is great!

Sometimes at the beginning, but most often, at the end.  They are usually pretty accurate.

Re: Chargeoff dropping off

I had a mixed bag on this one. two years ago I had a charge off that said it would report untill AUG 2011, it dropped off my EX in the begining fo Sept

I had another CO that said April 2012 and in march, it was also off my TU

Credit bureaus also take their time. EQ for me is generally the quickest with TU being the slowest.

Re: Chargeoff dropping off

I recently had a similar situation. Mine dropped off EX at the beginning of the month, EQ at the end, and I believe it's still currently on TU. It was supposed to report until 07/2013.

My FICO score didn't increase at all because I still have more negatives to get rid of. I sure thought I was going to receive some sort of boost though, nope!
