Chase GW rejection. I'm pretty bummed out. Advice?

I had a mortgage through Chase Home Finance with my ex-wife. Per the divorce decree, she was to keep the house, pay the note and try to get the mortgage in only her name as soon as she could. I even (against my better judgment) signed over my interest in the home to her by way of an Act of Donation. She convinced me she was going to stay in the home and raise our daughter there. Shortly after I signed it over, she put it up for sale. She ended up getting behind to the tune of 120 days late, which still shows up on my credit report. I've sent letters to the address on my credit report, faxed a letter including a copy of the Act of Donation and emailed the CEO. I got a call today and was told they couldn't do anything about it. Any advice? I feel so down in the dumps. I thought for sure I was a candidate for some goodwill, especially since I'm a Chase banking customer and had never had any late payments on the loan until our divorce.
