Hey gang,

Have any of you sent off GW letters several times and gotten denied, only to have a subsequent letter work?  We had a home mortgage with them and have several severe lates with them, but the loan was paid in full (in 2010).  I contacted the Exec offices about a month ago and the request was denied.  I just emailed again yesterday and got the same call from a different person saying "we can't amend, blah blah."  I asked if he would just be able to delete the whole trade line, but that didn't work either.

I wanted to tell them that I've read here that many people have been successful with the delete and how can it be different from person to person, but I didn't go that far.  I guess I'll keep trying, maybe mail this next time.  But I'm just curious if any of you who've dealt with Chase have been denied several times and then have had a GW letter work.

I sent a email yesterday to the chase email you guys provided to me, and I just got a call from a really sweet  card services rep  to notify me that the TL will be deleted!!

She is mailing me a letter stating what she is doing and even offered to clear my husband's credit report since he is an AU! yay

Im beyond excited- Im shaking, this was the worst baddie on my credit report.

I love you guys. Can't wait for my score jump.

I think the mortgage department is not as forgiving as the CC department. This has been my experience.
