Any advice i have two credit cards with Chase, I have been pretty good about paying them on time. However lost my job about 8 months ago so i have a total of 7 lates, i want to settle the account but they keep telling me they cant undo what they have already reported. They are saying i can diispute it, but not sure if that would be any good. Any suggestions?

I believe PFD only works with Collections and Charged-Off accounts... I'm not sure I understand what you're trying to do... are you saying you want to PFD the 7 lates being reported? that's not how PFD works. To get lates removed you have to send Good Will letter to CHASE. I remember when I lost my job this past January... I was told to call each credit card company and car loan to let them know I was going to be unemployed and wasn't gonna be able to make my payments on time. My advice for next time is to call them and let them know your situation and see how they can help you not REPORT late on your credit reports.

They are saying I can dispute the lates. I did call them and they said they would put me on a payment plan, nothing about not reporting. Ok SO PFD only works if its in collections or charged off? So on my other credit cards how bad would it be if i settled for half the amount can i ask them to report paid in full? or what do you suggest i do with the other credit cards?
thank you

what are the statuses of your credit cards? have they been closed? charged-off? I doubt an OC would agree to report Paid in Full, if it's settled for half the amount. You would have to get them to agree in writing.

They are both closed accounts. Both reporting paid as agreed, however i have some lates.

Chase was good to me this past month when I emailed the executive offices. They removed both accounts from my trade line within a week. No questions asked.

is there anyway someone could PM me the Chase executive emails... also would those emails be good places to send PFD letters? or somewhere else?

I too would appreciate a PM with some e-mail or at least names of higher-ups at Chase, preferably in the US.
I sent a PFD letter, addressed to the CEO of Chase Card Services, for a charged-off CC (just over $1,200) at the end of January, and today received a perfunctory denial from someone who by all appearances is in Mumbai, India.
The letter even stated that Chase was unable to remove it from my CR, which actually made me laugh out loud. They're the OC!
I knew it wouldn't be easy, but I'm not giving up after one attempt. This is my largest delinquency.
Thanks very much for any help anyone can give.
