Cheap credit monitoring service

In the wake of Experian's changes to the USAA monitoring service, I am looking for a new CMS.

I would like daily pulls, and don't care about the score.  Most importantly, I want it to be CHEAP.

Any suggestions?

Re: Cheap credit monitoring service

Yeah USAA/Experian burned a lot of people with this one - I love how the letter stated that consumers dont want to check daily and thats the reason for the change - BS

I checked it out - it's fifteen bucks if you want a report once a month.  Presumably the unlimited pulls cost more.

This LINK will take you to the AMEX Credit Secure page.

Re: Cheap credit monitoring service

The only thing I can think of right now is eliminateidtheft.com which is $12.95 a month. You get to pull daily. But you do have to wait a full 24 hours to pull your report again the next day. For example, if I pull today at 9:00 AM, I have to wait til 9:01 AM tomorrow before I can pull again. I normally wait a bit longer though and pull about 5 minutes after waiting 24 hours.

Re: Cheap credit monitoring service

That sucks.  For the most part my rebuild is done.  I have 4 bad accounts left that I'm still trying to GW but during my peak rebuild I depended on daily pulls to see what was going on with my accounts and which ones were being removed and which ones I needed to keep hounding.

I agree with earlier posters, once a month isnt enough.  I would be happy with once/twice a week.
