I went to local credit union and open account but they can't open account because the Chexsystem placed on my report.........2 of them from Chase and Capital one in 2008 and show $0 balance. Another one from chase paid in 2011( I had receipt for this one)
Would any one tell me what should I do for this case ??????
I'd GW Chase and CapOne. They should each have a banking department, or try the address reporting on Chex. Or sit down at a branch if nearby and see if a manager can help. I too had that and my bank gladly made the calls to get it removed. Also, I think the CRTP on Chex is 5 years, or at least IME.
Agreed. Chexsystems is 5 years. Try to contact them and see if they will remove the postings to Chexsystems since the accounts are all paid. Good Luck!
I talk to the branch yesterday at hey having everything on file....they so helpless all they told me is call the Chexsystem ppl..........even thou that's the automatic .......can't get in touch with any one...........I'm so mad and left the bank.......Chase is worst.....
Did you have checking accounts with them or were they credit card accounts? If they are credit card, I didn't think they could deny you because of late payments, only negative checking account history.
Checking account closed and paid .......
I want to dispute after I receive my report frôm them.......I never get in touch and they have no option to speak to no one when I call their number
I had two items listed on Chex, & disputed similar to a CRA dispute. Sent a letter CMRRR disputing both items. One item was deleted. The other item changed to Paid in full. This was enough to allpw me to open a new account...

No go with that one.
FYI - I tried GW with Chase on 2 WAMU banking accounts that went into collection and were paid off. I emailed their CEO and then received a phone call from the Executive Office (I emailed their CEO), the person I talked to stated that "only if it were a bank error would they remove the tradeline(s) reporting from ChexSystems."
So, I'm stuck with these 2 accounts until they fall off in August of 2013. It was worth a shot, due to the GW success I've seen others have with Chase!
