No go with that one.
FYI - I tried GW with Chase on 2 WAMU banking accounts that went into collection and were paid off. I emailed their CEO and then received a phone call from the Executive Office (I emailed their CEO), the person I talked to stated that "only if it were a bank error would they remove the tradeline(s) reporting from ChexSystems."
So, I'm stuck with these 2 accounts until they fall off in August of 2013. It was worth a shot, due to the GW success I've seen others have with Chase!
I certainly wouldn't give up. I can't speak to Chex specifically, but there are several success stories in here of Chase deleting lates and even COs off the 3 main CRAs. IMO, always avoid the CEO and other higher ups.
I'm a success with GW chase, just sent to the address on my CR. Don't recall how many, but was quite a few. Think they got tired of messing with me.

I've contacted Chase, the collection agency that held the two collections and ChexSystems. All of which say they won't or can't delete them.
I should mention that these two paid collections aren't reporting to any of the CRAs, they only show up on my ChexSystems report. Like the OP, I too had an issue trying to open a new bank account because of the ChexSystems report. I figured a GW was worth a try to get them to go away! Especially if I wanted to open a new credit line with Chase or AMEX, since they also pull one's ChexSystems report.
In the end, they fall off next August and I won't be in a better position credit score wise until then. So I'm alright with them still being on my ChexSystems report.
