Chexsystems Question

Personal experience.  Paid the balance due on an overdrafted bank account.  I asked about getting it off Chexsystem.  Paid them $25 to have it removed.  It was gone in about 48 hours.

And yes, my current bank offers the second chance account when you aren't eligible for a regular account.  Doesn't matter if, in their case, the account is 0 or not.

Thanks everyone for weighing in!  After reading the posts, I will pay Suntrust and not the CA and not worry about Chexsystems.  I have no plans of opening a new account, as I have several already - both banks and credit unions.

Another question - I need to pay Suntrust directly and not the CA, correct?  If so, Suntrust will then get the CA off of my back, right?

Only if the OC still owns it can you pay them.

If the CA is reporting it may be faster to just do a PFD with them.
