i just sent a hand written letter to the address on my CR.
i send a GW letter to citibank for an SL. i called the next week (~5 days later) and and CSR said they received something from me and it was under review. i called back 2 days later and the CSR confirmed it was approved and they informed the CRAs. looked at my credit report later and all lates were gone.
they were my first GW letter and i got results in about a week!
