The problem is that while FP calls it an annual fee they bill monthly.  There's no anniversary fee to wait for.  This OP is paying $12.00 monthly to keep these two low limit cards.

I believe FP has both an "Account Maintenence" fee, as well as the annual fee.  As evidenced by the dates he gave for the AF

My Fp has annual of 45$ then a 4.50 and 6.50 service monthly fee.
