Im looking at my credit report via USAA and its showing the deliquent account as:
EOS CCA
Account Status: CLOSED on Experian, Equifax but for Transunion it is Open.
What does this mean?
3rd-party reports like via many of Experian's products often don't show the whole picture. There's a chance that if you pulled your full report from the CRA it might not indicate that. Let's say for a sec that it does report that way. It doesn't matter. If a balance is listed then creditors would still know that it is an active collection. Regardless of opened or closed, FICO still scores it as a CA, in fact it doesn't even matter if it is paid or not since FICO scores both the same. I'd focus on getting it off. If legit, aim for a PFD (assuming you sent a DV). If not legit, then there are several steps you can take.
