Collection Agency won't work with me

i have 2 collections that I have sent PFD letters to address. They are at the same agency Credit Bereau Services. I received no response so I called and found that they will not do anything in my favor. They say they have a contract to report and will not work with me. Should I pay and move on?  The amounts are $52 and $115.

I'd suggest you to pay that off and forget it. Just make sure they update.

Are they still within SOL for your state?

Personally, I would want the debt discharged, particularly if a mortgage app is on the horizon.

I'm sure the SOL won't help me on this.  I guess I will just pay it and hope for the best.

They don't want to pull because it costs them money.

I would pay over the phone with credit card (for proof of payment), then dispute about two weeks later, either they update or delete, leaving you in the same situation as before.

Creditor agreed to remove, contract cancelled.

Comes back updated as paid, or is deleted. I dealt with a small collection agency (a few), and some charged extra to pull from report. The one (same collector, multi accounts) falling off next week told me they prefer I dispute. They made no money off the debts since I didn't owe them, they didn't want to pay to remove them,
