I have a small joint medical collection that was paid off in Feb. 2012 and even though it shows a zero balance on Equifax the report date updates every month so it isn't aging. Any idea why it would be doing this?
Because the CA that reported it keeps updating it. It doesn't go by the report date, it goes by the DoFD so it is aging.
