Collection account reporting

Can a collection agency report an account that they purchased,

• as an installment account
• showing the entire balance past due
• payment status as 120 days late or atleast 4 payments due

 Ive never spoken to them or set up any payments.  Is this an attemp to get me to contact them to get it straightend out so they can get paid? it's within the SOL so I can't do anything until I'm ready to PIF but this is showing as a current late on my CR and will effect my PL with my CU.

You can get that removed.  Just takes some effort. Get the email everyone is asking for and you will make progress.
