Collection accounts keep coming back

There are some collection accounts that were on my report and I disputed them and they were removed and now they are back again!  This has happened twice.  What should I do?  It's so annoying.  My credit score dropped a lot!!!!

Is the debt yours? Is the debt outstanding? Have you DV'd the CA?

No the debt is not mine.  I haven't DVd.  I thought it would be productive to just dispute with credit agencies.

Elizabeth, if these collection accounts are not yours, then you need to read the following from the FTC:

Fight Back Against Identity Theft

You'll need an Identity Theft Report (a police report specifically for this type of crime). Once you've obtained that, you can take the next steps to contact the creditors and the credit bureaus (fraud alerts & freezes).
