Yes. Fico score wise there may not be that big of a move if you have other derogs still on file. Your biggest Fico score move typically comes with removal of the final derog.

Was the debt paid or unpaid?

While whether the debt was paid or remains unpaid wont affect your score, in answering the larger question of impact on your credit standing, having a remaining unpaid, deliquent debt could still be a factor even if the collection has become excluded.
