Collection removed early....

I had a collection on my Experian report.  I was successful in getting this collection removed from Equifax and TransUnion a while ago.  It was scheduled to age off Experian in April 2013.  I called Experian today and asked if they could take it off earlier than April 1, 2013.  The csr said he would send a message to their system to have it removed early, but couldn't guarantee anything.  I logged back into my Experian report and it is gone!  I don't know how much that will improve my Experian score, but now I am free from any collections on all three of my credit reports!!

If its a paid collection, congrats!!!! If it's unpaid it might pop up again if its within the CRTP. Seen a lot of posters think onces collections fall off their history. Not true at all. Just gets put in your file until paid.

Are there any more major derogatories on your CR?  If not you will be rebucketed and possibly see a drop in score.  It could go either way.

It was removed 12 days early. It was due to fall off April 1.
