I just purchased my new score and report from TU and they have removed 2 collection accounts that were a year old (per GW letters). My score didn't increase at all.... I don't understand how that is possible?? Any ideas?
If you have other collections that were placed more recent then these, you might not see a score change.
Thanks, I do have one from a little over a year ago (my last one reporting).. Unfortunately its Midland and I am getting nowhere with them so far!!
What about all paid collections? Like if you have one removed (that's already been paid) but have other collections that were more recent that are also paid? Think there will be any score increase?

A paid collection is scored the same as an unpaid one. I know that doesn't seem fair but that's the way it is at present. So in your scenario I wouldn't expect a score increase but there seem to be few absolutes in the credit world.
