Comenity Goodwill Success?

I have 2 Comenity accounts (Express and Victoria's Secret) that are both open and current, but each one has 2-3 late payments. The oldest one is from 2008 and the most recent is from 2010. If I send a GW letter to try to get these removed, could I risk having the entire tradeline removed, or is that just for closed accounts?
