Coming up on 1yr with my secured 5/3rd credit card, what should I do next

In February my 1yr mark a be here that ive had my secured credit card with 5/3rd. I have a 1000 CL. Ive paid on time and kept 30% utilization all but with in the last 2months im at like 60%. But I will be paying it to a zero balance next month. Will it hurt my score when this card is closed? I plan on applying for a 5/3rd credit card since I have a repor with them already. What do yall suggest

No, it shouldn't hurt your score...maybe. Closing it will reduce your overall CL and that can increase your utilization if you have other CCs with a balance.

However, I would keep it open until after I have the replacement CC I want in hand.
