My husband has a TL from Conns on his CR. It was an account that had 5 various 30 day late payments. He ended up defaulting on it and it went to collections. The last regular payment was made 05/2010. We later took a settlement they offered for less that total amount remaining on account. The status is Accound Paid in Fiull; was a collection.
My question is: because it is with the OC should I send a GW asking for a removal or to remove the negative information from the TL?

If they will just remove the negative, that would be great, you would keep the AAoA of the account. But if they won't do that, a deletion of the TL would be good.
