$1400 Bill for tuition went to collection to conserve 

They have been paid in full.... anyone have any luck with good will or removal?

I have tried disputing (as I did not know about the debt)

It was supposed to be paid for by financial aid, but I only took 1 class and a an intro class... not 6 credit...  (Didnt know about that)

I was a first term student at the time... and my advisor was changing... so I think i was misinformed by the school... kept getting bills in the mail called to ask and they would say don't worry it will be taken care of by student financial aid... it just hasnt posted... fast forward 3 months later....until it went on my credit)

Oh my gosh, the exact same thing happened to me at Cal poly pomona. I just got off the phone with conserve and they told me they cannot delete the account if it is paid in full, that it will come off 7 years after the final payment. The rep also told me that I have to contact the 3 Major credit bureaus to have them removed. Ill post back here if I have any luck with conserve.
