We are looking to build our home. LO did a pull and said we needed to get to 680 to get the construction loan. At the time, we were 660, 669,630. LO suggested we get a VISA. We did and MyFICO showed the scores soared!! Switched banks and our Comenity/Ann Taylor Card payment had a returned payment. As soon as I found out, I headed to the store to pay. The damage was done.....5 year old account.....this is the 2nd time late! One GW late already removed 5/14 (Lexington Law)...and I have called several times....representative was nasty and will not remove!! LO just pulled again today and we are now husband EQ 606,EX 633, Trans 630 and I am EQ 584, EX 634, TRANS 666....We have sat down with the builder several times and have made awesome plans!! Should we do another GW letter? Please someone PLEASE HELP!! We need a 680 really fast...thanks for any direction you can provide!!!

Gw letter to the executive office. Here is the GW Letter thread:
Thank you so much! I have sent Comenity a certified letter with a detailed explanation. We will see how it goes. If they were to delete the 30-day late, I wonder would our score recover to its original version??

Over a few months as long as there are no other derogs you should recover the lost points.
