Contact the CRAs question

Hi all! I recently posted and got some great advice on starting my road to credit recovery. I've written all my letters but just have one question. Should I mail my letters to cra's certified mail or registered mail? Any advice one way or the other would be awesome!

Re: Contact the CRAs question

I don't believe CMRR is necessary when sending to CRAs.  Only when sending to CAs and OCs and needing a paper trail.

I don't know my start scores, but low 500s. 6/2013

Re: Contact the CRAs question

While usually unnecessary, if you are sending a dispute, the receipt by the CRA commences running of their 30 day period to complete their reinvestigation.

Having proof of date of receipt could be relevant down the road.
