Could i possibly reach close to 700 in 6 months

According to my fico my credit score is 610, i currenlty have mainly credit card debt and 4 collections, i know midland and PRA will not delete those, however if i pay my credit cards off could that possibly bring me close to 700?  I feel like there is nothing else to dispute and just take those collections as a loss.

Depends mostly on your current accounts (age, number of account and balances) and the age and status of derogatory accounts. Without more detailed info its impossible to even geuss.

OK, well that makes it a little easier to evaluate. My guess is its going to take longer than 6 months to reach 700 with those derogs. Many of your current accounts seem to be well aged which is good - thats mostly whats pulling your scores up IMO. The problem as I see it is that many of these derogs seems to be very recent.

I would not expect to see 700 for 12-24 months, unless you manage to get the derogs removed.

You will see some score improvement by getting all of your cards below 30% individually. Work towards getting most of them at $0. Peak your scores by only letting one card report a balance of under 10%.

It generally takes many, many tries before you see much success. Some people (myself included) find it difficult to push through such negativity.

for me i seen my scores go up big time when i got 4 disputed items taken off my credit reports paid off all my credit cards and kept my utilzation down under 10%

im going to Keep trying but as you can see they are Midland and Portfolio recovery.  Horrible, I am in payment arrangements with them,but i really want them off!

You might want to do some research and have another go at Portfolio Recovery Associates. I think people have been seeing more success with them lately due to their recent regulatory issues. I've not dealt with them personally, but I think I've read several people on this board who have. Good luck!
