I have been successful in removing a charge off with TU and EX. Today I tried EQ and was denied. They said they won't delete early. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told the same thing. The supervisor said I would need to dispute the item and initiated an investigation.

That was at 7:30 pm.

I checked my credit karma account and the account was removed by 8:00 pm.

Was it removed pending the dispute investigation?

An account is never totally removed during an investigation, only parts of it are removed from Fico scoring. With that being said odds are its gone.
