Credit Alerts

Is it normal to have a credit alert say a new derogatory account has shown up even though it has always been on my report? It seems that it was just updated.

Example:

Quantum Collection says it's been on my CR since 2005.

Or could this be one of the accounts that LL disputed (before I cancelled) and it is now being re-aged?

Re: Credit Alerts

Disputing can cause an alert like this. Its not a re-aging issue, its an "updating" issue. When a baddie updates, it lowers your scores.
