Credit Card Question

A friend of mine recently asked me a credit card question that I've been looking for on here, but I have yet to come across.

If you have been deliquent on a particular card (any card) in the past, but it has been over 7 years and it is no longer reporting, what are the chances of getting approved or even getting an account with the same card again?

That depends on the company and if the debt was paid or left unpaid.

Some CCC will still extend credit even with unpaid debt after some time.  Others won't at all.

It really doesn't matter if it is on your CR or not, some tend to keep records.
