Mine is really high because I have a BOA Visa Signature card which has no credit limit. They report n/a under credit limit on my credit report. So, my total available credit limit is only a sum of my other two cards. I've contacted BOA and they say that is their standard reporting information similar to a generic AMEX card. How do you guys handle this? My utilization seems high when in reality it isn't. Thanks.

Keep asking, all cards have a limit. otherwise I assume either the standard $500-1000 is your credit limit. They say don't utilize more than 9%.

Cards without hard limits are generally categorized into another category. Where are you getting your scores? FAKOs don't factor the same as FICO.

You're right BOA said it was 5k but very loose. I can go way over w/o an issue. And I'm very embarrased to say I got my credit Utilization score from Credit Karma. Yes, I'm now a cheapskate. ![]()
