So I sent Credit Collections Services a pfd letter a couple weeks ago. Today, I get a letter that says "Please be advised, your account has been closed by this office and returned to your creditor. We have instructed the credit bureau(s) to delete the account".
The account is a Nationwide bill that I owe. I'm thinking I should call Nationwide tomorrow to see if have the account back and pay it so that the amount ($81) is not sold to another CA?
Any thoughts?
I sent the same exaxt thing to a different company. I recieved a letter saying the account will be returned to the OC and deleted.
In short, it was deleted from my CR.
Then sold to a different CA. But I filed BK before they could put it on my CR because of some other issues.

Yes, I would contact nationwide... you can usually log-in online and check and pay there...
Good luck!
