Credit First National Association will not accept goodwill letter.

So I have an account from 4 years ago with Credit First. It was a $500 credit card. I was young and dumb didn't make my payments. After a few months it went to collections. I pay off the card and forget about for a few years. Now that I'm rebulding my credit, its my only negative account so I really want it removed. So far I've tried calling twice and asking to have it removed. I've sent 4 good will letters (2 a week). Just got a responce by mail today saying they won't make the change. I only have two address for the compnay so maybe that would help? Its it worth hand writing these letters? I've been typing them. Any advice about good will letters or Credit First would help. Thanks guys this forum is awesome.

Keep sending and keep looking for names and addresses.  I've had some say no dozens of times and then just delete.  All you can do is ask.  Best of luck!
