Credit One Bank denied GW request

had a 3 day late payment on my account in March (the only late payment ever with this card).  So I send a request to get 30 day late removed from my account.  Got a letter today telling me they are required by FCRA to report true and accurate info to the CRA.

I do believe they can still remove this late if they wanted to as a goodwill.  I read about that stuff all the time.

Should I attempt again?  Anyone had success with Credit One Bank?  What did you say and how did you contact them?  I did try by phone as well.

I do not have experience with Credit One, but I'd advise to keep giving it a shot.  The worst they can say is no.  You may try changing your revising your letter a little each time.  It just has to reach that one right person.   You may even try to call their executive office and speak to someone there about it.
