Credit Protection Assoc./Brighthouse

My husband has a collection for $251 for Brighthouse Networks (cable) and the CA is credit protec. assoc. does anyone have expierence with PFD with them? I also know sometimes typically a cable company can pull it out of the CA and I can pay them directly, would they have the ability to remove it from the CR as well? It is still within the SOL unitl August of this year.

If you pay the OC, they can always contact their debt collector and request that they delete their reporting, but they cant compel them to do so.

If the OC has not reported, then the direct approach would be to offer the PFD to the party who is authorized to delete the collection......the debt collector.
