Much better. That is actually an account in good standing. It says pays as agreed and it was transferred. I would not mess with it.

I'm getting a call from a collections agency wanting $3,200 for it or they say they are sending it to their lawyers.
On my TU it shows as an adverse account.
That is odd. The account you posted has nothing adverse on it.
Can you post the TL from TU?
When was the last payment made you mentioned?
It has me completely confused. It also isn't listed in any of the collections categories on any of the 3 reports.
It was a loan I defaulted on and it shows it transferred to another lender but it doesn't show who it was transferred to, etc.

That account is adverse due to late payments. It has never been charged off or sent to collections according to the information.
Do you know if you ever brought the account current with those payments in 2009?
From what I can see your DoFD would be Jan 2009. But a DoFD is only for charge offs or collections and that doesn't appear to be the case here.
No, the account was never brought current. It says that it was purchased by another lender but that info cannot be found anywhere in my reports and I haven't made a payment on this since 2009 at the latest.
Any idea how I should proceed from here?
