Does this mean Macy's still has the account? I
plan to pay them next month. I think this caused my credit score to drop 61 points. I just received a SW alert.
When I pay this will my score go back up?

I went from Fico EQ 612 on 6-3 when I signed up with this forum down to Fico EQ 606 today.

It's a little hard to read it all bunched together like that lol.  Did you dispute?

Just so you know, when you dispute an OC account, certain aspects of that account are removed from scoring, like the CL, balance and payment history.  When the dispute is resolved your score will either go back to pre-dispute score or up or down depending on what they do with the account.

Sorry about that. I just copied it from my SW. I was disputing the number of times it was late.

My question? It's still giving me Macy's address but when I call the automated system refers me to a different ph'#. Should I just pay Mays or contact the creditor?

If you owe it, yes pay it.

No, your score will not go back up until the dispute is resolved.
