Credit score help

First of all. To be honest, I don't know what all of these abbreviations mean. I'm new to this. But. Idk what to do. My credit score is bad. I'm 51 and would love to buy instead of keep renting. Any co that u know of that can help?

Don't spend money on a "repair" company.  We will help and other than postage, it's all free advise.

First, get all 3 credit reports from annualcreditreport.com.  You get one free every 12 months from each CRA.

Read all of the links in my signature line to help understand some things.
