Creditor contacts - for the experts

I've sent correspondence to the address listed on the 3 credit reports and it comes back as undeliverable.

What type of violation would be to use an obsolete, no forwarding address, on a consumer's report?

thanks in advance

I THINK that if you were to complain on that basis, they'd tell you to MOV the CRAs.

If you dispute with the CRAs and the address THEY have on file is wrong, I don't think it could be verified. Thus, it would be deleted. :/

Yep, and it would be the creditors' own fault.  The law says the information on a CRA has to be accurate, and that includes the creditor's address.

FDCPA or FCRA? Which section? Smiley Happy

I can't verify\validate\MOV because the disputed item is a hard inquiry.

I think I can use FCRA 623 to ding the CRA for reporting incorrect information AFTER I sent them copy of undeliverable correspondence.

I'm looking for more data, though...
